When does the church worship?
Join us for a fulfilling day of worship and spiritual enrichment at our church. Start your Sunday morning with an insightful Bible study at 9 AM, where we explore the Scriptures and engage in thoughtful discussions. At 10 AM, we come together for our main worship service. In the evening, return for our 7 PM service, a time of reflection and worship to end your day with peace and grace. All are welcome to participate in any or all of these services as we grow in faith and fellowship together.
What does a worship service look like?
Experience a heartfelt and uplifting worship service at our Church of Christ. Our service begins with an opening prayer. This is followed by a scripture reading, where we listen to the Word of God and reflect on its meaning in our lives.
Our congregation takes great joy in singing hymns in an acapella style, lifting our voices together in beautiful harmony without the accompaniment of instruments. The simplicity and purity of our singing create a profound and moving worship experience.
We then partake in the Lord’s Supper, a sacred moment to remember Christ’s sacrifice through the sharing of bread and fruit of the vine. This observance is central to our faith and a time for personal reflection and communion with God.
The service continues with a sermon, delivered by our preachers, offering thoughtful insights and practical applications of Biblical teachings to inspire and guide us in our daily walk with Christ.
Service is concluded after a final prayer. We would ask that you stick around once service is concluded that you might be greeted and welcomed by our ministers, elders, and members.
What is the Lords Supper?
The Lord’s Supper, also known as Communion, is a sacred observance in which Christians partake of unleavened bread and the fruit of the vine to remember and honor the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Instituted by Jesus during the Last Supper with His disciples, it commemorates His body broken and His blood shed for the forgiveness of sins. The Church of Christ observes the Lord’s Supper as a central act of worship, reflecting on Christ’s love and sacrifice, reaffirming their faith, and fostering a sense of unity and community among believers.
What is expected of me?
We warmly welcome visitors to participate in our worship services. You are invited to join in our prayers, scripture readings, and singing. However, if you prefer not to participate in any part of the service, please feel comfortable simply observing. Your presence is a blessing, and we are glad to have you with us.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Colossians 3:16
Is there a dress code?
While we do not have a strict dress code, we kindly request that all members and visitors dress modestly out of respect for the sanctity of our services. Whether you prefer formal attire or casual wear, we appreciate your consideration in maintaining a respectful and reverent atmosphere. Join us as we come together to celebrate faith, support one another, and grow spiritually in a warm and inclusive environment.
Will I be expected to make a financial contribution?
Following the Lord’s Supper, we honor God by providing an opportunity for those who feel inclined to make a financial contribution. While we deeply appreciate any support, we do not require financial contributions from our members or visitors. Your presence and participation are what matter most to us.
What about my kids?
Visitors are encouraged to bring their children to our church, where they will be warmly welcomed and invited to attend Sunday School while the adults participate in Bible study. Our engaging Sunday School programs provide a nurturing environment for children to learn about faith, values, and the teachings of Jesus in age-appropriate ways. We value the opportunity to share the love of Christ with your children and welcome them to join us in this enriching experience.
What if I am unable to attend worship services in person?
For those unable to attend our worship services in person, we offer the option to join us remotely via Zoom. Through this online platform, you can participate in our services from the comfort of your home or wherever you may be.
