About

History

The Somerset West Church of Christ was established in 1984 by two South African preachers, Paul Gerber and Peter Rode, who studied in the USA.  We finished building the churches building in 1992 after purchasing a piece of ground from the government. In 1995 the Peter Rode family returned to the United States after a tragedy in their family.

And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
